Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, joined citizens of the state at the Mahmud Ribadu Square in Yola for a Ramadan Iftar, describing the gathering as a moment of unity, reflection, and renewed commitment to the collective progress of Adamawa.
The governor said the event was not merely about breaking the fast, but about strengthening bonds among the people and reinforcing the shared values that hold communities together during the holy month of Ramadan.




Governor Fintiri noted that Ramadan teaches discipline, patience, and compassion, values he said are essential for building a peaceful and progressive society.
He emphasized that leadership must remain close to the people, listening to their concerns and aspirations while working together toward a common goal of development and harmony across the state.
The Iftar gathering brought together citizens from different walks of life, creating an atmosphere of fellowship and reflection in keeping with the spiritual significance of the Ramadan season.
